Its Enquiries Service can be contacted for further information. In Northern Ireland a borehole and well database is maintained by Geological Survey of Northern Ireland.

In England and Wales, your local Environment Agency office may hold information on the locations of wells. In Scotland, your local council may hold information on the locations of private water supplies.
