Background

River-aquifer interaction is an important part of the hydrological cycle. Therefore, groundwater models which include rivers need to model this interaction properly. The aim of this workshop was to examine the current techniques for simulating river-aquifer interaction and provide recommendations for improvements to current modelling practice.
